Mexico Man Crashes in Boone County
A Mexico man was injured in a single car crash in Boone County on Saturday.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 20-year-old man was driving a 2013 GMC Sierra on Route Z, north of St. Charles Road, at about 2:20am, when he traveled off the right side of the road. He then overcorrected and drove off the left side of the road, striking a fence.
MSHP noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
He was transported by ambulance to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
