MoDOT Bridge Work in Jeff City
A new phase of work is set to start tonight on U.S. 54 in Jefferson City over Missouri Boulevard in an ongoing rehabilitation project, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
MoDOT construction crews will begin working on the right lane tonight. This will shift traffic traveling east and west to the left lanes.
During this phase three ramps will be closed, according to MoDOT. They include:
- Westbound U.S. 54 off-ramp to Missouri Boulevard.
- Eastbound U.S. 50 off-ramp to U.S. 54.
- Missouri Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound U.S. 54.
The 11-foot width restriction and speed reductions will remain in place, and these impacts are expected to last through mid-October.
