Three-Car Accident Injures Two in Warren County
A 60-year-old Jonesburg woman and a 34-year-old Washington woman were both seriously injured in a three-car crash accident yesterday in Warren County. The accident happened at about 7:56am on Missouri Highway 47, just north of Marthasville, near Kleekamp Drive.
A 2000 GMC Sierra was traveling northbound when it slowed to make a left-hand turn. A trailing vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven by the 34-year-old, failed to keep a proper lookout and swerved into the southbound lane in an attempt to avoid the first vehicle. In doing so, she hit a 2025 Chevrolet Trax traveling southbound.
Both women were transported by Marthasville Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Washington.
