Mexico Man in Hwy 54 Accident
A Mexico man received moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident yesterday in Callaway County.
The 21-year-old man was driving a Ford Mustang westbound on Highway 54 near highway 40, when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a billboard, overturning the car and ejecting the driver.
Missouri State Highway patrol noted that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The driver was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
