St. Louis Man Wanted in Boone County Robbery
A warrant has been issued for a St. Louis man who faces multiple felony charges in Boone County following a July 29th incident.
Earlier today, the Columbia Police Department was granted a no-bond warrant for the arrest of Jalon James Jamar Pittman Jr.
According to probable cause statements, a victim reported that Pittman was staying at his house overnight, and when the victim woke up, his pistol, watch, Louis Vuitton Bag, and Chrysler were gone.
Court documents state that the victim later found Pittman in the Chrysler, and when he went to confront him, Pittman allegedly began shooting out of the car window. A witness reported seeing the victim return fire in what appeared to be self defense.
Pittman was charged with two counts of Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, First-Degree Assault, First-Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Stealing $25,000 or More.
A warrant was granted for his arrest with a no-bond condition.
