Moberly Man Accused of Sexual Assault
A 55-year-old Moberly man has been accused of sexually assaulting an adult with autism last month.
Randolph County prosecutors have charged Tommy Lee Morgan with First Degree Sexual Abuse. According to the probable cause statement, Moberly police officers were called to Casey’s North gas station on July 14th, for a report of a peace disturbance. Officers found a woman arguing with Morgan about him sexually assaulting her 23-year-old autistic son.
The victim told police that Morgan had picked him up at the boat dock at Sugar Creek Lake, promised him a soda, and then took him to the spillway, and then performed oral sex on him.
A warrant was issued for Morgan’s arrest, and a bond was set at $40,000.
