Mullings Charged With Stealing
A Columbia woman has been charged with two counts of stealing from her former employer.
According to court documents, on April 16, police officers were called to the 3100 block of Wingate Court for a fraud report.
The hotel’s owner said their former general manager, Samantha Mullings, had made several unauthorized purchases.
The documents allege that Mullings made multiple purchases between March 21st and April 3rd that totaled $1,044, and another owner said Mullings had failed to deposit about $4,000 in cash into the business’s bank account.
Prosecutors charged Samantha Mullings with two counts of Stealing $750 or more.
A warrant with a $20,000 surety bond was issued for Mulling’s arrest.
