MoDOT to Reopen I-70 Martinsburg Exit
The Missouri Department of Transportation is planning to remove the barriers on Eastbound I-70 between Columbia and Kingdom City tonight, as crews will start moving eastbound traffic onto newly constructed lanes around 7pm Friday. MoDOT expects traffic to be using the new eastbound lanes by Saturday morning.
As part of the change, the eastbound ramps at Route J in Millersburg will reopen after being closed for about three and a half months. MoDOT says the new eastbound lanes took about 4,000 truckloads of concrete.
