Mizzou Legacy, Secures Fifth Jeopardy Win
A University of Missouri Legacy is making headlines on national television.
Harrison Whitaker, son of Mizzou professors and Alumni Beth and Todd Whitaker, claimed his fifth consecutive Jeopardy win Monday night, securing a spot in the Tournament of Champions.
From memorizing U.S. Presidents in kindergarten to earning degrees from NYU, Columbia, and Cambridge, learning has always come naturally to Whitaker.
In addition to his remarkable memory, Harrison discovered a passion for quiz bowls during college.
Although he auditioned for the show in high school without success, he gave it another shot after graduating.
This time, his persistence paid off, as he’s now on a five-game winning streak.
