KWWR Sports Report 04/03/23

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 9-4 yesterday (Sunday) at Busch Stadium. Redbirds slugger Nolan Gorman homered twice and added four RBI. During the three game series with Toronto the Cardinals pounded out 41 hits and scored 22 runs and took 2 out of 3 games.

The Kansas City Royals lost 7-4 to the Minnesota Twins. The Royals scored their 1st three runs of the year, however are still searching for their first win after a frustrating 3-game series against the Twins.

The NCAA basketball championship takes place tonight when the Connecticut Huskies battle the San Diego State Aztecs. Tip off is at 8:20.
