New Masking Guidelines at MU Health Care Facilities

MU Health Care is lifting universal masking requirements for all MU Health Care hospitals and clinics, effective today (Thursday).

There are exceptions, including for those patients experiencing respiratory symptoms, those who have tested COVID-19 positive or had an exposure in the last 10 days, and for those visiting a patient with COVID-19.

Otherwise, masks are optional with that decision based on a risk assessment conducted by MU Health Care’s Infection Control team.
