The Mexico boys tennis team will be playing for a District championship this afternoon (Wednesday) after defeating Lutheran St. Charles 5-0 in Districts yesterday (Tuesday).

In doubles it was the duos of Declan Gleeson and Boston Davolt, Brendan McKeown and Quaid Grubb, and Camden Williams and Zeven Ruiz picking up wins.

In singles Brendan McKeown, and Declan Gleeson picked up victories for the Bulldogs.

Mexico plays the District Championship Match at North Point High School this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2.

The St. Louis Cardinals used the long ball to beat the Chicago Cubs 6-4 at Wrigley Field last night (Tuesday).

Paul DeJong hit a tie-breaking, ninth-inning homer and Nolan Gorman and Lars Nootbaar also went to deep as the Redbirds won their third straight game.

St. Louis will look for the series sweep against the Cubs tonight (Wednesday).

The Kansas City Royals had their two-game winning streak come to an end with a 4-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox at the K.

The Royals look to earn a split of the series tonight (Wednesday).

Single-game and group tickets for the Kansas City Chiefs will go on sale on Friday.

The NFL will release the season schedules tomorrow night (Thursday) at 7pm on the NFL Network.

Tickets then go on sale at 11am on Friday at Chiefs.com.
