Jury Trial Scheduled for Fulton Man Accused of Killing His Classmate
A jury trial is set for December for a Fulton man accused of killing his classmate in 1991.
46-year-old William “Chris” Niemet is accused of killing Greg Jones in April 1991 in Russellville.
Jones and Niemet were both 14 at the time.
Niemet was charged with first-degree murder.
A jury trial was initially set for July, however was delayed.
The jury trial has now been scheduled for Monday, December 4 at the Cole County Circuit Court.
