Week 10 of high school football got underway on Friday, November 1, 2024.
In the upset of the season the Mexico Bulldogs went into state ranked an undefeated Kirksville and defeated Kirksville and defeated the Tigers 21 – 14 in double overtime.
Drew DeMint finished the game with 49 yards receiving and 46 yards on the ground.
Hunter Cuno pounded out 119 yards on the ground.
- The Centralia Panthers pounced on the Carrolton Trojans and defended their home field with a 44 – 6 victory.
- South Callaway earned a 42 – 32 road win over rival North Callaway to advance n the District Tournament.
- Louisiana beat Veritas Christian 46 – 3 to pick up their first win of the season.
- Bowling Green dominated Montgomery County 52 – 13.
- Father Tolton defeated Lexington 56 – 8.
- Macon shut out Mark Twain 37 – 0.
- Monroe City bested Highland 54 – 14.
- Clark County edged out Palmyra 26 – 22.
- Hallsville is moving on in the playoffs after beating Winfield 32 – 15.
- Wright City over Duchesne 42 – 0.
- Moberly eliminated Fulton 59 – 20.
- Southern Boone defeated California 34 – 21.
- Boonville took down Versailles 54 – 14.
- Hannibal beat Holt 50 – 14.
- Jefferson City lost to Lebannon 49 – 7.
- Francis Howell beat Hickman 42 – 35.
Area high school softball championships will be wrapping in Springfield this weekend.
The Centralia Lady Panthers defeated Blair Oaks 4 – 0 on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Centralia will face Oak Grove in the Class 3 title game on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
St. Elizabeth will play Gallatin in the Class 1 title game.
Paris, Blair Oaks and Linn all finished 4th in their respective classes.
For the second time in school history, the Father Tolton Lady Trailblazers softball sits on top of the state of Missouri with a 2 – 0 win against Belton yesterday (Friday).
The St. Louis Blues return home tonight (Saturday) trying to put an end to a three-game losing streak when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
