KWWR Sports Report 12/6/2024
University of Missouri women’s basketball defeated SMU 68-61 in the SEC/ACC Challenge last night (Thursday) at Mizzou Arena.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter notched her second double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win, the SEC won the cross-conference challenge, 10-6.
Up next the Mizzou women will be back in action tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) against Northern Illinois at Mizzou Arena.
The St. Louis Blues won 4-3 in overtime against the Calgary Flames on the road last night (Thursday).
Colton Parayko scored with 2:35 remaining in overtime to give the Blues the victory.
St. Louis is tied for the National Hockey League lead with eight wins in one-goal games.
