Mexico High School Baseball Completes Play At Eugene Quad With Games Against Eugene And Waynesville

The Mexico Bulldogs split a pair of games against Eugene and Waynesville in the Eugene Quad on Saturday, Apr. 12, 2025.

Mexico lost 7-4 to Eugene.

The Bulldogs offense out hit Eugene 10-8.

Landon Hilderman went yard in the bottom of the second inning.

Chance McCarty and Sam Ryan each collected two hits.

Kaden Benne started on the mound for Mexico and gave up zero runs over five innings, striking out seven.

Tyson Carr pitched in relief striking out one batter.

In five innings of work, Carr gave up zero runs and struck out seven batters.

Sam Ryan went 2-for-4 at the plate with 2 RBI.

Mexico would bounce back with a 16-1 victory over Waynesville in their next game on Saturday.

Drew DeMint collected three hits in three at bats.

Mexico scored eight runs on four hits in the top of the third inning.
