New Florence Body Identified

The body discovered last week at an abandoned building in New Florence, has been identified as that of a 37-year-old woman who had been reported missing from El Paso, Texas, on February 5, 2025.

New Florence Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 400 block of Booneslick Road last Tuesday after two individuals reported finding a deceased person inside the building.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
