A 77-year old Fulton man has been charged with first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action, after a road rage incident in Columbia yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

Ray Phillips was arrested after Columbia Police responded to a shots fired call in the 1200 block of Grindstone Parkway at around 3 p.m.  What they found was a road rage incident between two men that left one vehicle damaged as a result of the gunfire.

No injuries reported in the incident.
