Spivey gets 10 years for gun possession

Kimo Spivey might not have been convicted of murder, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action this past summer, but he will still see considerable jail time.

Spivey is the Columbia man, one of several, that were involved in the shooting outside of Plush Lounge that left Melvin Hooker III dead back in early May of 2023.

He was convicted of gun possession charges in a the shooting, and as prior and persistent felony offender Boone County Judge Joshua Devine sentenced Spivey to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
