A Montgomery County woman was arrested Sunday at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, after she tried unsuccessfully to bring K2 paper into the correctional facility.
Ninon J. Hensley, was stopped by prison officials around 10am, when she tried to bring K2 paper, a synthetic cannabinoid, into the facility through the visiting room. She was rad her rights.
Hensley then stated she was instructed by her brother to meet some individuals in St. Charles for the K2 paper, and then to bring it in through the visiting room by hiding it in a bag of quarters.
K2 paper is paper that has been soaked with liquid K2. When asked by law enforcement if she had any other illegal substances, Hensley stated there were two more wrapped stacks of K2 paper in her car, and claimed she did not intend to bring those in.
Hensley was formally charged with
–Conspiracy to Commit Class A/B/C Felony
–Deliver Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid
–Delivery or Possession of a Controlled Substance at County/Private Jail/Corr. Cntr.
–Possession of Controlled Substance
She was booked into Pike County Jail and was held on a $50,000 bond.
