A three-vehicle crash in Clinton County in Northwest Missouri has left a 59-year-old Jefferson City woman with serious injuries. The accident happened yesterday at 6:55pm on Highway MO 116 at US-169, 3 miles south of Gower, Missouri.

The crash occurred as the 2021 Honda CRV she was driving eastbound, ran a stop sign, striking a southbound 2023 Ford Mustang, which then hit a northbound 2024 Chevrolet Traverse.

A 32-year-old female driver of the Mustang and her 13 -year-old passenger, both from Smithville, were seriously injured as were the 61-year-old female driver of the Traverse and her 63-year-old passenger, who were from Kansas City.

The Jefferson City woman and the Kansas City couple were taken to a St. Joseph hospital, while the two others were taken to a North Kansas City Hospital.
