A case status hearing scheduled for 9am today in Boone County Court for 23-year-old Maxon Castle, the Columbia man, charged with two counts of second degree assault after he sprayed two women near Bear’s Creek with caustic fluid, a substance that is corrosive or can cause chemical burns upon contact with skin.
