That Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputy that was shot Sunday in an exchange of gunfire with a homicide suspect in Paris, was transported to the Randolph County Ambulance after the shooting and then life flighted to an area hospital.

The deputy went underwent multiple surgeries and is expected to make a full recovery, according to the sheriff’s office.
