A 49-year-old Eldon man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Sunday evening in Cole County.

The man was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson Softtail at 6:53pm, westbound on Rt E, just west of Honey Creek Road, when he struck a deer and was ejected.

He was transported by MU Air Ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
