A short segment of Callaway County Route FF (Old U.S. Route 40) in Kingdom City is expected to close this week for the removal of a railroad bridge.

Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Old U.S. Route 40 under the railroad bridge. The closure is anticipated to last 30 days. No detour will be signed, but signs located well ahead of the closure will alert motorists to use an alternate route.
