Two Moberly firefighters were treated for minor burns after a structure fire early Sunday afternoon.

According to a social media post from the Moberly Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at 1:52pm to a home in the 300 block of Austin Street on the city’s north side.

Approximately 7 firefighters responded, and found smoke and flames showing from all sides of the home upon arrival.

The injured firefighters were treated on scene.

No one was home at the single-family dwelling at the time of the fire. According to the post, the investigation is ongoing.
