Columbia Man has Pleaded Guilty to Federal Gun Charge
A Columbia man has pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge.
The U.S. Department of Justice says 31-year-old Lajuan Martin admitted to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Marin was arrested after Columbia Police stopped him for driving without a license.
Officers say they found a gun and drugs during the arrest.
Martin has prior felony convictions, which bar him from owning a firearm.
He remains in the Cole County Jail, and a sentencing date has not yet been set.
