PEPCO manufacturing of Moberly is back up and running, literally and figuratively. The company, which delivers educational furniture and lab tables to schools and universities all across the country, has been hampered since September, when thieves broke into their building and stole the company’s only service van.

PEPCO owner Dave Patton told police he arrived at work that day to see his keys taken, the security system torn off the wall and of course, the company van gone.

Kind of hard to deliver supplies when your only delivery van is stolen.

Oddly, it turned up much like it vanished. Earlier this month, a Moberly citizen emailed Patton and said his van was parked on his property and he needed to come get it. And it still had all of hist ools in it.

Moberly police collected fingerprints in the van and continue to investigate the case.
