Boone County firefighters responded to a structure fire late Saturday night in the 5600 block of North Pintail Lane in Columbia.

At approximately 9:20 PM, Boone County Fire Protection District was dispatched and Crews arrived to find a fully involved garage fire with extension into the main living quarters and attic space.

Within 10 minutes, an All Call was activated for all available Boone County Fire Protection District personnel. Crews remained on scene until 2:03 AM.

Due to heavy involvement and structural conditions, firefighters did not fully extinguish the structure and allowed the remaining portions of the building to burn. The residence is considered a total loss.

No injuries were reported.
