For those that haven’t watched television lately, Sports betting is legal and live in Missouri as of today.

Missouri voters approved Amendment 2 in November 2024, which authorized both online and retail sports wagering for individuals 21 and older.

You must be at least 21 years old and physically located within Missouri state lines to place a wager. Residency is not required, but geolocation technology will be used to ensure compliance.

The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) will be responsible for overseeing and regulating all sports betting activities in the state, with the state imposing a 10% tax on the adjusted gross revenue of licensed sportsbooks, with proceeds directed toward education institutions and at least $5 million annually to the state’s compulsive gambling fund.
