Columbia Fire Department was called out to the 2500 block of West Worley Street around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Crews arrived and found smoke and flames coming from a structure at the Storage Mart facility. The fire was under control in roughly 45 minutes, but did cause damage to 14 units.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Then, Columbia fire crews were called out again early this morning for a house fire in central Columbia.

Columbia firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 1415 W. Worley around 4:20 a.m. . They arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the attic.

They were able to contain the fire to the attic, and put it out within 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
