Auxvasse Man’s Drug Case Delayed, Reset for February Hearing

An Auxvasse County man’s case has been continued and reset for early next year.

In court Monday, defendant Gilbert Arcala appeared in custody with his attorney, Andrew Lyskowski.

Arcala, was charged with Deliver Controlled Substance and three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance in September.

after a search warrant on his truck revealed six baggies containing a total of 22.4 grams of cocaine.
They also found 3.8 grams of ketamine, 3.9 grams of MDMA, several diazepam pills, drug paraphernalia, and an iPhone.

Arcala’s request to have his bond set at fifty thousand dollars was denied after prosecutors asked that he remain held without bond.

According to court documents, Judge Andrew J. Hardwick ruled to keep the current conditions in place and reset the case for a plea and trial setting on February 4th, 2026, at 9 a.m.

The hearing was rescheduled at the defense’s request and granted without objection.
