The Interstate 70 ramps at Stadium Boulevard will narrow for core drilling operations this week and motorists are asked to use caution and pay extra attention through the work zone.

Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to obtain core samples as part of Improve I-70: Rocheport to Columbia.

Work will narrow the eastbound I-70 ramp to Stadium Boulevard and the Stadium Boulevard ramp to westbound I-70 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, and Thursday, Jan. 22. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

This work is part of Improve I-70: Rocheport to Columbia, one project in MoDOT’s Statewide Improve I-70 Program. Construction on this section of I-70 is scheduled to begin in 2026.
