Two arrests have been made in connection to the shooting in the 2600 bock of Eastwood Drive yesterday (Thursday) morning.

Columbia Police say 24 year old Jasmine Ford of Columbia was arrested for armed criminal action, assault, and kidnapping, also arrested 31 year old Barry Ronell Brown the 2nd of Columbia for the same charges.

An investigation revealed a trail of blood leading from an apartment building with bullet holes outside of the apartment on Eastwood drive.

Detectives say they spoke to the victim at the hospital and she reported Brown offered her money to perform a sexual act and when she refused Brown and Ford prevented the victim from leaving and assaulted and Brown shot her.
