Autopsy Scheduled For Woman’s Body Found In Boone County Last Week

An autopsy on a woman found dead inside a Boone County residence last week is scheduled for this (Monday) morning.

The Boone County Medical Examiner’s will conduct the autopsy as deputies are investigating the death on Hatton Chapel Road in Columbia as suspicious.

Deputies are reporting the death is related to a shootout that took place near Springfield on Thursday, last week.

More details about the case are expected to be released after the autopsy is completed.
