Child’s Death Investigation Could Take Months

Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley and Moniteau Prosecutor Shayne Healea said in a statement today [Friday] the investigation into the death of a 5 year old could take months.

The incident occurred outside California, Missouri.

Because of the ongoing investigation, specific facts and circumstance surrounding the child’s death will bot be released.

The name of the child is not being released.
