Ashland Woman Dies in Boone County Accident

A one car accident in Boone County on U.S. Highway 63 at Bonne Femme Creek has claimed the life of an Ashland woman.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened yesterday (Monday) afternoon around 4:15.

A vehicle driven by 15 year old Kayla A. Sage of Ashland went off the road hit an embankment becoming airborne and coming to rest on its top at the bottom of the creek.

The passenger in the car 50 year old Jesseca A. Sage was pronounced dead by a Boone County Paramedic.

Kayla Sage was taken to the Boone Hospital with moderate injuries.
