Warren County Dr. Pleads Guilty To Medicare Fraud in Federal Court

A Warren County Dr. is pleading guilty in federal court to two felony charges.

According to court documents 62 year old Dr. Philip Dean made a plea agreement yesterday (Wednesday) of distributing opiate medications and making a false statement to the Medicare program.

Dean is accused of having personal relationships and living with three women for some time periods and prescribing them with prescription opioid pain relief medications including Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and several forms of Fentanyl.

Sentencing is set for November 20th where he faces a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and fines of up to five hundred thousand dollars.
