Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Boys and Girls Pick Up Home Conference Wins Over Hannibal Pirates
The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams each picked up home conference wins last night (Thursday).
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Hannibal Lady Pirates 55-25.
Senior Mya Miller led the charge with 15; Freshman Claire Hudson finished with 9 points; Taylor Demint had 8; Jordyn Thurman pitched in 7 points; Riley Thurman and Lexi Willer had 6 points each respectively; Messiah Simpson and Kierstan Epperson rounded out the scoring book with 2 points each.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs improved their overall record to 6-1 and remain perfect in the North Central Missouri Conference at 3-0.
The Mexico Bulldogs boys beat Hannibal 64-36.
Three Bulldogs finished in double digit scoring.
Daeye Miller had 16 points; Michael White had 16 points; Isiah Reams recorded 10 points.
The Mexico Bulldogs pushed their overall record to 7-0 and are 3-0 in the NCMC.
Up next is the Gary Filbert Classic on Saturday at the Mexico High School, where the Mexico girls and boys will play the Harrisburg girls and boys.
