KWWR Sports Report 2/17/22

The boys and girls state wrestling championships will get underway at Mizzou Arena today.

Katie Bowen making her second appearance at State and competing for the Mexico High School girls wrestling team.

The Mexico High School boys wrestling team has 4 members in the tournament. They include Keith Ransom who looks to repeat as a State Champion, freshman Grant Van Horn, Ricky Juarez, and Dylan Mosley.

Competition starts at 9 this morning.

The championship finals take place on Saturday night.

The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team will be on the road tonight against the 17th ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs.

Each team is looking to snap 3 game losing streaks.

Tip is set for 6pm.
