Accident Near Laddonia Claims Life of Vandalia Man

An accident early this afternoon (Friday) north of Laddonia kills a Vandalia man.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year old Kevin E. Murray of Vandalia lost control of his 2002 Chevy Blazer and crossed the center line, striking the front of a tractor trailer driven by 32-year old Bashir Isse of Columbus, Ohio.

Isse was not injured in the accident that happened on westbound Highway 54 a half mile east of Audrain Road 448 at 12:47.

The accident had the highway shut down for a number of hours while the investigation was underway.
