Probable Cause Statement on Mexico Teacher Accused of Hitting Student With Bag of Dodgeballs

KWWR/KXEO News has obtained a copy of the probable cause statement involving a Eugene Field Elementary PE teacher Katrina Dukes who is accused of swinging a bag of dodgeballs at a student. Click the link below to read the probable cause statement.

According to Audrain County Prosecutor Jacob Shellabarger, Dukes is being charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree.

Child abuse is a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree with physical injury is a class C felony.

A court date has not been set as of this time.

Ms. Dukes will be served a summons and notice with her court date.
