KWWR Sports Report 9/6/22
Jack Flaherty did well in his first time out since being injured in June, but St. Louis still got stymied by Joey Meneses and the Washington Nationals when they lost 6-0 yesterday.
The Washington Nationals take on the St. Louis Cardinals tonight at 6:45. Right hander Paolo Espino vs left throwing Jose Quintana.
The Royals took it to a tenth inning before Oscar Gonzalez hit a two-run double and the Cleveland Guardians beat the Kansas City Royals 6-5 last night to regain sole possession of the AL Central lead.
The Cleveland Guardians are at Kansas City at 7:10 with Shane Bieber vs Kris Bubic.
