KWWR Sports Report 12/16/22

In basketball action last night at North Callaway, the Lady Thunderbirds downed Louisiana 45 to 32. The boys game was postponed due to illness in Louisiana.

Next up for the Thunderbirds, the Gary Filbert Classic in Mexico tomorrow night taking on Community R-VI.

In Hannibal last night, the Mexico Bulldogs got a quad split.

JV and varsity girls both lost their contests, but the boys JV and varsity won theirs.

With the 58 – 36 win over the Pirates, the varsity boys improve to 6 – 2 on the season and 2 -1 in NCMC play.

The Junior Varsity boys remain undefeated at 4 – 0 with the 53 – 18 win over Hannibal.

Next up for the varsity squad, the Gary Filbert Classic at Mexico High School tomorrow night.
