Area Transportation Projects Get Funding
Twenty-eight local transportation projects across the state get funding from the Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission.
The projects are being funded through a partnership between MoDOT and the Missouri Department of Economic Development called the Transportation Cost-Share Program.
Governor Parson approved $75 million for the program to strengthen infrastructure and boost workforce development across the state.
The program partners with local entities to deliver the projects.
Area entities receiving funding includes the City of Moberly for the Moberly Industrial Park Street Extension for $555,560 and the Montgomery County Commission for Mega Site Roadway Improvements for $1,832,000.
Also receiving funding is the City of Owensville for the Springfield Road Realignment for $313,027 and the Warren County Commission received $2,725,500 for the American Foods Group Village Drive Roadway Improvement project.
