Vandalia Native Gets Promotion
A Vandalia native and Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper is getting promoted.
According to the Patrol, Mark Hicks is being promoted to corporal and will be the assistant supervisor of the Marion & Ralls County zone.
After graduation from Van-Far, Hicks served in the U.S. Army for four years and for Audrain County Sheriff’s Department for three years before joining the Patrol on February 1, 1998.
He was assigned to Audrain County from 2001 to 2004 before going back to Troop B.
