Two Centralia residents face charges after police say they were involved in a burglary that led to more than nine thousand dollars in stolen items.

Thirty-nine-year-old Chase Wyatt is charged with stealing more than seven hundred fifty dollars and passing a bad check.

He has a confined docket hearing scheduled for 1 p.m. Today, while a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Also charged is thirty-nine-year-old Denver Robb, accused of receiving stolen property and drug possession.

Robb has a confined docket hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday November 25th, and a preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18.

both Wyatt, and Robb are currently being held without bond at the Boone County Jail.

The probable cause statement says police were called on Oct. 29 to a Centralia home after $9,000 worth of items were stolen, including guitars, amplifiers, knives and a camera.

Police say the stolen guitars, amps, knives, and camera were traced to local pawn shops and music stores through online sales records.

A separate case links Wyatt and another suspect, forty-three-year-old Cinda Smith of Hallsville, to a burglary involving stolen guns earlier this year.

Smith charged with second-degree burglary and stealing a gun. She is being held at the Boone County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

A probable cause statement says a Centralia homeowner reported to police on March 20th, that 43 guns were stolen from his home between Feb. 10-14.

Police wrote that Wyatt’s phone was examined and a conversation about the alleged burglary, including photographs, occurred on Feb. 13.

Photos of stolen guns were also observed by police and additional messages allegedly showed plans to sell them, the statement says.

Police eventually found a storage unit on Nov. 5 that contained stolen property that was identified by the owner, the statement says. Additional photos of Smith were found in the unit, along with items that had her name listed, court documents say.
