A one-vehicle Boone County accident yesterday evening has left a 40-year-old Columbia man with serious injuries.

At 8:15pm, the man was driving a 2012 Lincoln MKS southbound on Missouri 763, just north of East Harvester Road, when he went to turn left, hit a curb, struck a post and struck a utility pole and then came to rest on its side.

The man was taken by ambulance to Univerisy Hospital in Columbia.
