Carson Jedlee Adams was charged yesterday (Tuesday) in Gasconade County Court, in connection to a Monday night shooting that left one man injured. He now faces charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
According to court documents, Adams told a Gasconade County 911 dispatcher that he shot his brother in the leg with his rifle.
The individual who was shot was flown to a hospital in St. Louis before deputies arrived, and a deputy who went to the hospital to obtain a statement confirmed the victim had a gunshot wound around their knee, according to the probable cause statement.
Deputies seized a rifle with seven rounds and one round in the chamber in a wooded area where Adams reportedly told deputies he left the gun, according to the statement.
Adams was arrested, and his bond is set for $50,000, according to online court records.
