In Class 1 State quarterfinal action, Hayti pounded Van-Far, 38-14, while Putnam County shut out Salisbury 18-0.
On the other side of the bracket, Tipton held on to beat a late Thayer rally. The Cardinal win 22-14.
Montgomery County lost in the State 2A quarterfinal matchup with St. Pius the 10th on Saturday, as the Knights scored all the game’s points in the final quarter, on their way to a 14-0 win.
Monroe City rolled mid-Buchanan, 58-21 as they too advanced in Class 2. Across the bracket Blair Oaks hammered Summit Christian Academy, 59-7.
In Class 4, Hannibal ran over West Plains, 41-12.
In Class 5 Carthage clocked Capital City, 36-17
and in Class 6, Nixa hammered Helias 45-28.
